How does RDS bill for services?

Paid Services: RDS Services subject to payments are dry cleaning, laundry wash & fold, and package/supplies delivery or related services. Please see our pricing page for a description of our paid services. Our Customer Care Team is available to discuss payment terms for using our paid services.

Billing: We use a third-party payment processor to send invoices via email for services provided. Currently, we use Square, Inc. as our payment processor. By choosing to use our Paid Services, you agree to pay RDS through Square, Inc. We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes that Square, Inc. makes even if it has already requested or received payment.

Recurring Billing: Customers utilizing recurring (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) service are invoiced accordingly. With customer permission, RDS will charge invoices using customer saved payment methods on file. We may submit periodic charges (e.g. weekly) without further authorization from you, until you provide prior notice (receipt of which is confirmed by us) that you have terminated this authorization or wish to change your payment method. Such notice will not affect charges submitted before we reasonably could act to terminate your authorization or change payment methods.

Payment Methods: If paying through emailed invoice link, RDS accepts credit card and ACH draft. RDS accepts credit card payment over the phone. Credit card payment can be made at time of delivery with prior notice to RDS.  Please understand for the safety of our drivers, RDS Drivers Do NOT accept cash payments.

Does RDS have a minimum order amount?

Yes. There is a $25 minimum laundry order that applies to the cost of services, before any discounts, applicable taxes, and delivery fees. We accept orders under the $25 minimum but those orders will be subject to a fee that reflects the difference. (In other words, you’ll pay a minimum of $25 per order, even if the cost of services is less than $25). The $25 order minimum does not apply to Leather Cleaning or Repairs.

Does the minimum order apply to all services?

No. The $25 order minimum does not apply to Leather Cleaning, Repairs or Dry Cleaning.

How much does RDS cost?

We offer Wash & Fold, Dry Cleaning, Event Linens and Specialty Cleaning services, which vary in price. Click here to view our prices. Our goal is to provide an incredible customer experience that is more convenient than anything out there, but to do it at a competitive price. We take pride in being as transparent as possible and, unlike most laundry services, there are no hidden fees at RDS. In addition to the cost of cleaning, RDS charges a $9.95 Service Fee per order, and we have a minimum order requirement of $25.

Do you have hidden fees?

No, there are no hidden fees associated with RDS. Although much of our industry engages in "up charging" via hidden fees, we strive to be fully transparent and do not upcharge on any items. Please understand discount and promotions cannot be combined. Can I tip my RDS driver?

Yes - you are able to tip your RDS driver upon delivery! Simply reply to your delivery confirmation text message with “TIP” followed by the dollar amount you’d like to give (e.g. "TIP $5") and it’ll be automatically added to your receipt.
